Section 3. Love & Fr iendship Mai lbox of Peace 086 087 Korea Foundation & US Peace Corps KF COVID-19 Survival Box Gratitude Letter Col lection I wanted to take this opportunity to express my thanks and gratitude for your very generous gift of the Survival Box . I feel privileged to still be remembered by the Korean Government . I was also fortunate to participate in the Revisit Trip in October of 2011 . What a wonderful experience . I am a K - 24 volunteer and served as a tuberculosis health care worker in Kyung Gi Do , Yeo Ju Gun Health Center . It was a life changing experience and continues with my love of the culture , people and food . This has led me to make several trips back over the course of the years and to maintain contact with several friends . Once Again , Thank You . “I feel privileged to still be remembered by the Korean Government” Glenn Bechler , K - 24 Glenn Bechler I served in Jeonju from 1969 - 71 ( K - 12 ) and have such fond memories of my years teaching in a middle school . Receiving your care box reminded me of the abiding generosity I always experienced with Koreans . It was a time of profound learning and personal and professional growth . How lucky I was to have that opportunity . It truly enriched my life . And now the kindness continues . I loved everything in the care box , especial- ly the cultural touch of those beautiful spoons . Of course , my family will use the masks and gloves , which are higher quality than those I used before . And the eatables will become part of any careful interactions with friends . I will always remember your thoughtfulness , caring for us , just as my school always did . We so admire how Korea has managed the virus and send our best wishes for a quick eradication . With great respect and appreciation , “It truly enriched my life” Ruth Howell , K - 12 Ruth Howell
