Happiness & Hope Mai lbox of Peace 050 051 Korea Foundation & US Peace Corps KF COVID-19 Survival Box Gratitude Letter Col lection As a former Peace Corps volunteer in Chungcheongnamdo , Nonsan , I ’ d like to thank you and the Korea Foundation for the very kind and thoughtful COVID - 19 Survival Box . The kit is so beautiful , meticulously prepared and utilitarian . I had a little tear in my eye as I opened it and read your warm messages . I just couldn ’ t believe that the Korean people still remember me and my col- leagues after all these years . It was so very kind of you to send this . I use the masks every day and I am absolutely sure they will help me survive the Covid pandemic . Whenever possible I point out to anyone I meet that I am proudly wearing Korean - made mask . I am very impressed with Korea ’ s wise and capable handling of the Covid pandemic and always point it out to my friends . There may be challenges ahead but I am sure Korea will show the world the way to handle the pan- demic . Receiving it was such a surprise ! Actually when the box arrived , my three grandchildren were at my house and the older two ( who are girls ) just loved the jeju facial masks ! Of course , given the current state of COVID - 19 infections in the U . S ., the KF80 / 94 masks are also very welcome . I live in Washington DC . I hope when the pandemic ends here ( hopefully by the fall of 2021 ) that Friends of Korea can combine with the Korean consulate to have a collective celebration of thanks . Thank you again .
