Section 4. Handwr itten Letters 134 135 Mai lbox of Peace Korea Foundation & US Peace Corps KF COVID-19 Survival Box Gratitude Letter Col lection I am writing to thank you and The Korea Foundation for your generous and thoughtful gifts in the KF COVID-19 Survival Box, gratefully received this Fall. The filtered face masks and elegant gifts came as an astonishing surprise. To be remembered and thanked for my Peace Corps service over 50 years ago (Korea-IV) was tremendously moving. Your kindness shines as a brilliant light in a darkened year.<omit> I spent a brief part of my Peace Corps service living in a small village a short bus ride from Z14 47, then a pristine site of great natural beauty. I have many fond memories of Korea and its people. I've always felt I received far more than I gave. Sincerely, “Your kindness shines as a brilliant light in a darkened year” Michael Sullivan, K-4 Michael Sullivan, Ph.D. Thanks for everything! “You went out of your way and it meant so much!” Kathleen Quinby, K-37 Ko In-Sook, Kathleen Quinby
