Section 4. Handwr itten Letters 114 115 Mai lbox of Peace Korea Foundation & US Peace Corps KF COVID-19 Survival Box Gratitude Letter Col lection Words cannot express the heart-felt impact of the KF Covid-19 Survival Box! Although we left Korea decades ago, Korea remains with us as a constant reminder of being guests taken into homes, schools, markets, etc. always welcomed and watched over by the Koreans we lived with, taught, and learned from. This survival box brought back a tsunami of feelings, memories, and moments. P.S. This card was made by Hyun O’Brien, who married a Peace Corps volunteer - a K-1 or perhaps a K-3. Hyun shares her cards with others such as me who are friends due to our Korea Peace Corps connections. “Korea remains with us” Margaret Taylor , K - 7 Margaret Taylor I want to thank you and the Korea Foundation for the gift box I received late last year. The contents were wonderful and the generosity exhibited were much appreciated! My wife, who is Korean, and I were so surprised when the large box arrived. I was a K-20 Peace Corps volunteer who served as an English teacher at Kyesong Girls Middle School in Busan from 1972 until 1974. Those were wonderful years which I shall never forget. I love the Korean people. I have been back to Korea four times with my wife and I consider Korea to be my second home. Again, thank you so much! “Those were wonderful years which I shall never forget” Bud R . Anderson , K - 20 Bud R. Anderson
